Support
Notice
As
of July 2006, Microsoft has ended
support of their Windows 95, 98 and ME
operating systems. This means they will no
longer be providing security updates or patches.
They recommend upgrading the operating systems
to Windows XP.
In
turn Cybershore will no longer provide telephone
tech support for these operating systems.
This includes dial-up, DSL without a router
and wireless networks. In addition support
for older browsers and email clients will
no longer continue.
The technical support pages on both Microsoft
and Cybershore will continue to be available.
Another great source of information can be
found through search engines as computer technology
is highly documented on the Internet.
This
might be a good time to consider getting a
new computer; the costs are dramatically lower
than just a few years ago. Cybershore does
not endorse any particular brand, we suggest
you do some research.
Note:
Microsoft has terminated support for Windows
XP Service Pack 1 as of October of 2006. If
you get a new computer, make sure it has SP
2 or Vista.
